Ingredients (nutrition)
- 2 oz butter
- 1 lb chicken livers
- 1 1/4 teaspoons brandy
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 hard boiled eggs
Preparation (instructions)
- Melt butter in a large frying pan. Fry the liver over a medium heat.
- Pour in brandy and stir fry for a few minutes.
- Remove from heat and blend livers, cooking juices from the pan, onion and eggs in a blender or food processor until a smooth paste is formed.
- Transfer the mixture to a serving dish and cover with foil.
- Chill overnight in a refrigerator.
- Prior serving, take out from the refrigerator and set aside until it reaches room temperature.
