DIY Grilled garlic bread

Grilled Garlic Bread with Thyme

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 2 garlic bulbs
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • 1 ciabatta loaf
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Preheat grill.
  2. Cut the tops off the garlic bulbs and remain the cloves with the skins on.
  3. Brush with olive oil.
  4. Wrap the garlic bulbs and 4 sprigs of rosemary in a foil.
  5. Grill for 20 minutes, turning frequently.
  6. Slice the bread loaf and drizzle olive oil.
  7. Lightly toast both sides under the cooking grill.
  8. Squeeze the garlic cloves from their skins onto the toast.
  9. Mince the leaves of the remaining 2 rosemary sprigs.
  10. Dust over the bread.
  11. Season with salt and pepper according to taste.
  12. Best when serve warm.
