Ingredients (nutrition)
- 1 lb pizza dough
- 1/2 lb Italian sausage, cut into slices
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 green pepper, cut into slices
- 1 onion, cut into slices
- some Italian seasoning
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
- 2 1/2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation (instructions)
- Position pizza dough on a surface board sprinkled with flour. Set aside to rest.
- Saute Italian sausage slices with butter in a skillet over medium heat for about 8 minutes.
- Pour in water and add in pepper and onion slices. Cover and bring to boil until vegetables are tender.
- Drain liquid from skillet.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning and mix well. Set aside.
- Preheat over to 375 degree F and lightly grease baking sheet.
- Roll out pizza dough into a rectangle shape.
- Top with sausage mixture, Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
- Roll the dough like a Swissroll cake. Pinch seam to seal the sides.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove from oven and rest on a tea towel for 15 minutes.
- Cut into slices and serve warm.
