Ingredients (nutrition)
- 2 1/2 tablespoons groundnut oil
- 1 lb sliced shallots
- 1 diced red chili
- 1 finely chopped garlic clove
- 2 lb squid rings
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation (instructions)
- Add oil in a frying pan and sweat shallots over low heat until the shallots are soft.
- Increase the heat to medium, then saute shallots until crispy.
- Put in chili and garlic.
- Saute for about 1/2 minute.
- In a separate bowl, season squid rings with salt and pepper.
- Add the squid to the frying pan and saute for approximately 45 seconds until squids curl.
- Serve hot.
