Do it yourself: Smoked Salmon Sushi Rolls

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 7 oz Ricotta cheese
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons wasabi
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 oz creme fraiche
  • 12 slices brown bread without crusts
  • 11 oz smoked salmon
  • 5 oz baby rocket leaves without stalks

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Combine together ricotta, wasabi, lime juice and creme fraiche in a medium bowl.
  2. Flatten brown bread with a rolling pin.
  3. Spread the ricotta mixture over the bread.
  4. Place smoked salmon and rocket leaves on top.
  5. Roll each piece of bread like a Swiss roll.
  6. Wrap the rolls tightly in cling film and chill in the refrigerator for 40 minutes.
  7. Unwrap the rolls and cut into slices.
  8. Ready to serve.
