Ingredients (nutrition)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 7 thickly sliced tomatoes
- 5 slices white or brown bread
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 oz grated Parmesan cheese
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation (instructions)
- Add some olive oil on a frying pan and place on a high heat.
- Fry tomato slices for 2 minutes, until slightly blacken and soft.
- Lightly toast breads using a grill.
- Place the tomatoes on the toast.
- Drizzle each bread with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
- Top up with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Season well with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately.
