- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 lb boneless and skinless chicken breast
- 2 peeled sweet potatoes, cut into bite size pieces
- olive oil cooking spray
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
Preparation (instructions)
- In a bowl, combine together paprika, chili powder, cinnamon, cumin, garlic powder, mustard and sugar.
- Rub the prepared seasoning on the chicken breast, cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes before grilling.
- Meanwhile, add sweet potatoes with salted water enough to cover the potatoes in a saucepan under medium heat and gently boil for 4 minutes.
- Remove from heat, spray potatoes with cooking spray and salt them.
- Place chicken and potatoes on barbeque grill and cook until done.
