Barbecue pork chop with cinnamon apples recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 4 thick cut pork chops
  • 2 cup Italian dressing
  • 4 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 3 peeled and chopped apples
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons butter

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Mix pork chops, Italian dressing and garlic and allow to marinate in room temperature for 4 hours.
  2. Preheat oven to 375 degree F.
  3. Wrap each pork chop in aluminum foil and add in barbecue sauce before completely seal it.
  4. Bake pork chops for 18-22 minutes. Set aside in a warm place.
  5. In an oven safe dish, add apples, cinnamon, sugar and butter.
  6. Bake in oven at 375 degree F for 8-10 minutes.
  7. To serve, spread apple mixture on serving plates and place pork chops on top.
  8. Drizzle with barbecue sauce over pork chops.
  9. Serve hot.
