Barbecue steak recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 2 tablespoons seasoned flour
  • 2 lb round steak
  • 2 tablespoons shortening
  • 1 can Campbell tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • 4 drops Tabasco sauce

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Pound seasoned flour onto steak and brown in shortening.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix well remaining ingredients and pour over steak,
  3. Cover and cook under low heat for 1 1/2 hours.
  4. Serve warm.
