Chili garlic barbecue salmon recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 3 lb whole trimmed salmon
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chopped ginger root
  • 1 chopped garlic clove
  • juice and zest of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 chopped green onions

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Prepare outdoor barbecue grill at high heat.
  2. Slit shallow cuts on salmon skin and place on aluminum foil.
  3. Combine together soy sauce, ginger root, garlic, lime juice, lime zest and brown sugar in a bowl.
  4. Pour over salmon and seal the aluminum foil.
  5. Place salmon on grill and cook for 28 minutes.
  6. Before serving, garnish with green onions.
