Baked pork chops recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 5 pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 lightly beaten eggs
  • plain flour for dreging
  • 2 cups Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 11 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup white wine

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
  2. Pat dry pork with kitchen paper towel.
  3. Season with garlic powder and salt and set aside.
  4. Place beaten eggs in a bowl.
  5. Dredge the pork in flour, dip in egg and coat with bread crumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a non stick skillet.
  7. Add pork and cook until breading becomes well browned.
  8. Transfer pork to baking dish and cover with foil.
  9. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.
  10. Meanwhile, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk and white wine in a bowl.
  11. After pork baked for 1 hour, cover with the soup mixture.
  12. Cover with foil and bake for another 35 minutes.
  13. Serve hot with roasted potatoes and vegetables.
