Ingredients (nutrition)
- 5 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 lb boneless beef top sirloin steak, cut into strips
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 1 lightly beaten egg
- 3 cups cooked white rice or brown rice
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped peanuts
Preparation (instructions)
- Mix 2 tablespoons soy sauce, ginger, sesame oil, garlic and black pepper in a large bowl.
- Add beef and coat evenly. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a non stick skillet under medium heat.
- Add beef and stir fry for 2 minutes.
- Remove beef and set aside.
- Add bell pepper, onions and peas in the same skillet.
- Stir fry for 1 minute.
- Add egg and cook until scrambled.
- Return beef and stir in rice with remaining soy sauce.
- Cook for 2 minutes.
- Serve hot and garnish with chopped peanuts.
