Beef lettuce wraps recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup peanut sauce
  • 1/2 cup suckling pig sauce (hoisin sauce)
  • 1 chopped cucumber
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped mint
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 12 large Boston lettuce leaves

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Place beef on a nonstick skillet and brown for 10 minutes under medium heat.
  2. Pour away drippings.
  3. Add in peanut sauce and hoisin sauce.
  4. Heat through and add cucumber, carrots and mint.
  5. Season well with salt and pepper.
  6. Place beef mixture in lettuce leaves and roll up.
  7. Serve with chili sauce if desired.
