Beef steak with asparagus recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 1 cup prepared balsamic vinaigrette
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon style mustard
  • 4 beef sirloin tip side steaks, cut into 1 inch thick
  • 1 pound fresh asparagus
  • 1/2 cup water
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Mix balsamic vinaigrette and mustard in a bowl. Reserve 1 1/2 tablespoons and set aside.
  2. Marinade beef in the mixture and cover with cling.
  3. Refrigerate for 6 hours.
  4. Add asparagus in microwave safe dish.
  5. Add water and cover.
  6. Place in microwave and set on high for 5 minutes.
  7. Drain asparagus and add the reserved marinade mixture to asparagus. Set aside.
  8. Take out beef and place on grill.
  9. Grill for 15 minutes, covered.
  10. On the 12th minute, add asparagus on grill.
  11. Season well with salt and pepper.
  12. Serve hot.
