Ingredients (nutrition)
For Steak
- 4 beef tenderloin steaks, cut into 3/4 inch thick
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse grind black pepper
For Salad
- 1/2 cup prepared honey mustard
- 3 tablespoons water
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 5 oz mixed baby salad greens
- 1 green pear, cut into wedges
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup chopped toasted pecans
Preparation (instructions)
- Season beef with pepper.
- Place beef on hot skillet and cook for 10 minutes.
- To make honey mustard dressing, whisk mustard, water, olive oil, wine vinegar, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a bowl. Set aside.
- Add vegetables, pear, cranberries and pecans in a mixing bowl.
- Drizzle dressing on the salad.
- Carve steaks into thin slices and serve with salad.
