Ingredients (nutrition)
- flour for coating
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 12 oz boneless pork steaks, cut into bite size cubes
- 1 1/2 oz butter
- 3 fl oz red wine
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 3 oz crumbled Stilton cheese
Preparation (instructions)
- Combine flour, salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Coat pork with flour mixture evenly.
- Melt butter in a frying pan and fry the coated pork until cooked and lightly browned.
- Remove the pork and set aside.
- Transfer the fat from the frying pan to a saucepan.
- Pour wine and vinegar and continue to stir under very low heat.
- Add cheese and stir regularly until it melts.
- Season with salt and pepper if required.
- Drizzle sauce over prepared pork.
- Serve hot.
