Cheesy pork recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • flour for coating
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 12 oz boneless pork steaks, cut into bite size cubes
  • 1 1/2 oz butter
  • 3 fl oz red wine
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 3 oz crumbled Stilton cheese

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Combine flour, salt and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Coat pork with flour mixture evenly.
  3. Melt butter in a frying pan and fry the coated pork until cooked and lightly browned.
  4. Remove the pork and set aside.
  5. Transfer the fat from the frying pan to a saucepan.
  6. Pour wine and vinegar and continue to stir under very low heat.
  7. Add cheese and stir regularly until it melts.
  8. Season with salt and pepper if required.
  9. Drizzle sauce over prepared pork.
  10. Serve hot.
