Ingredients (nutrition)
- 1 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 pork chops
- 2 tablespoons water
- 10 fl oz cranberry sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons soft brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- 9 oz carrots, cut into strips
- 1 teaspoon cornflour
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Preparation (instructions)
- Preheat the oven to 375 degree F.
- Sprinkle onion powder on both sides of pork chops and set aside.
- Heat water, cranberry sauce, brown sugar, ginger and nutmeg in a saucepan for approximately 2-3 minutes until sugar dissolves.
- Place carrots in a casserole dish.
- Top pork chops over carrots.
- Drizzle cranberry sauce uniformly over pork chops.
- Cover and bake in oven for about 40-45 minutes.
- Remove pork chops from oven and pour the sauce remaining from the casserole dish to a saucepan.
- Add cornflour and water in the saucepan if required to form a paste.
- Stir and cook for about 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Drizzle over pork chops and garnish with parsley.
- Serve hot.
