Loin pork with wine sauce recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • 4 crushed black peppercorns
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 4 pork chops
  • flour for dredging
  • 2 oz chopped red pepper
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 2 fl oz dry white wine
  • 2 fl oz beef stock
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Heat up oil in a frying pan and add peppercorns and garlic.
  2. Coat pork with flour and saute in the same pan until golden brown.
  3. Remove pork from pan and set aside.
  4. Saute red pepper and onion until soft in the same pan.
  5. Pour in white wine, beef stock and vinegar.
  6. Stir well and return pork to pan.
  7. Allow to simmer slowly for approximately 30 minutes.
  8. Serve hot with rice.
