Marinated eye round steaks recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 1 cup plain non fat yogurt
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 beef eye round steaks, cut into1 inch thick
  • 1/4 cup plain mayonnaise

Preparation (instructions)

  1. To make the marinade, add yogurt, parsley, lemon juice, garlic, paprika and salt in a bowl.
  2. Divide the mixture in half.
  3. Place beef in half of the marinade, cover and refrigerate for 12 hours.
  4. Add mayonnaise in remaining marinade, cover and chill in the refrigerator.
  5. Remove beef from marinade and place on grill.
  6. Grill for 25 minutes, uncovered.
  7. Serve beef with prepared mayonnaise mixture sauce.
