Ingredients (nutrition)
- 2 lb pounded ground pork
- 5 minced garlic cloves
- 3 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion
- 2 tablespoons minced ginger root
- 4 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 1/2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 lightly beaten egg
- 5 cups finely shredded Chinese cabbage (Pak Choi)
- 80 dumpling wrappers (wonton wrappers)
Preparation (instructions)
- Mix well pork, garlic, onion, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, egg and cabbage in a large mixing bowl.
- Place 1 teaspoon pork mixture onto 1 dumpling skin (wonton skin).
- Moisten edges with water and fold edges over to form a triangle shape.
- Roll edges to seal in dumpling filling.
- Steam dumplings in a steamer for about 20 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
