Ingredients (nutrition)
- 2 teaspoons dark sesame oil
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 lb boneless beef top sirloin steak, cut into strips
- 1 red capsicum pepper, cut into strips
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons water
- 3 cups chopped spinach
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 cups cooked brown rice
Preparation (instructions)
- Combine sesame oil and garlic in a bowl.
- Add beef and coat evenly.
- Heat non stick pan under medium heat and add beef.
- Stir fry for 2 minutes and remove from skillet.
- Set aside and keep in a warm place.
- Add red pepper, 2 tablespoons soy sauce and water in the same skillet.
- Cook for 3 minutes.
- Add spinach, onion, ketchup, remaining soy sauce and return beef to skillet.
- Heat through and serve with brown rice.
