Sweet & sour pork recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 2 lb sliced lean pork tenderloin, cut into strips
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 can sliced pineapples
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup apple vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 1 diced onion
  • 2 sliced green peppers
  • 2 cups cooked white rice

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Season pork with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a non stick pan under medium heat.
  3. Add pork and cook until meat is well cook.
  4. Add remaining ingredients except cooked rice.
  5. Cook until vegetables are slightly browned.
  6. Serve hot with rice.
