Ingredients (nutrition)
- 2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 chicken, cut into 8 pieces
- 3 sliced garlic cloves
- 2 finely chopped shallots
- 4 tablespoons dried mixed herbs
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation (instructions)
- Heat oil in a frying pan under high heat.
- Add chicken and brown until golden.
- Cover and allow to cook for 8 minutes.
- Add garlic, shallots, 2 tablespoons herbs, salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook for another 8 minutes.
- Before serving, add lemon juice and remaining herbs.
- Serve hot with rice.
