Chicken herbs recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 chicken, cut into 8 pieces
  • 3 sliced garlic cloves
  • 2 finely chopped shallots
  • 4 tablespoons dried mixed herbs
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan under high heat.
  2. Add chicken and brown until golden.
  3. Cover and allow to cook for 8 minutes.
  4. Add garlic, shallots, 2 tablespoons herbs, salt and pepper.
  5. Cover and cook for another 8 minutes.
  6. Before serving, add lemon juice and remaining herbs.
  7. Serve hot with rice.
