Ingredients (nutrition)
- 3 1/2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon chopped thyme
- 1 teaspoon chopped coriander
- 3 1/2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 3 crushed garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon grated root ginger
- 1 teaspoon five spice powder
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- pinch of ground cinnamon
- 12 lb goose
Preparation (instructions)
- To make the marinade, mix all ingredients except goose in a large mixing bowl.
- Add goose and chill for at least 24 hours.
- Preheat oven to 425 degree F.
- Remove goose from the marinade and pat dry with kitchen paper towel.
- Transfer marinated goose in a roasting tin and cover with foil.
- Roast for about 22 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 400 degree F.
- Continue to roast until golden brown.
- Serve hot with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables.
