Ingredients (nutrition)
- 3 fl oz lemon juice
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- 1 teaspoon grated root ginger
- 1 teaspoon crushed dried red chilies
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon Demerara sugar
- 2 1/4 tablespoons honey
- 12 skinless chicken thighs, prick with forks
- 2 1/2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
- 1 finely chopped fresh green chili
- 2 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Preparation (instructions)
- In a glass mixing bowl, combine well lemon juice, garlic, ginger, red chilies, salt, sugar and honey.
- Coat chicken in the mixture and allow to marinate for 1 hour in a refrigerator.
- Preheat grill to medium.
- Take out chicken from the refrigerator and combine coriander and green chili.
- Transfer chicken in a flameproof dish together with the marinade.
- Baste chicken with oil.
- Grill chicken for 20 minutes.
- Serve hot.
