Ingredients (nutrition)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped garlic clove
- 1 finely chopped green pepper
- 1 lb minced turkey
- 2 oz fresh white breadcrumbs
- 1 lightly beaten egg
- 2 oz pine nuts
- 12 chopped sun dried tomatoes
- 3 fl oz milk
- 2 teaspoons chopped rosemary
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation (instructions)
- Preheat oven to 375 degree F.
- Heat oil in a frying pan.
- Add the onion, garlic and green pepper.
- Sweat under low heat for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, add turkey, onion mixture and remaining ingredients.
- Mix well and transfer to a roasting tin.
- Bake in preheated over for 1 hour.
- Serve immediately.
