Ingredients (nutrition)
- 6 large eggs, whites and yolks separated
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 pint milk
- 1 pint sweet cream
- 1 cup rum
- 1 cup cognac
- grated nutmeg to garnish
Preparation (instructions)
- Chill the egg whites in a refrigerator.
- Whisk egg yolks, sugar, milk, sweet cream, rum and cognac in a mixing bowl until smooth and fluffy. Allow to chill in the refrigerator overnight.
- Before serving, transfer the rum mixture into a punch bowl.
- Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into the rum mixture.
- Garnish with grated nutmeg and serve into individual Collins glass.
