Hot wine punch cocktail

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 2 cups tea
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cardamom
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons whole cloves
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 peeled and sliced lemon
  • 1 peeled and sliced orange
  • 1 freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 bottle sweet white wine
  • 1 bottle dry red wine
  • 1 cup vodka
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Simmer tea, sugar, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon under a low heat.
  2. Add in lemon and orange slices and set aside.
  3. Just right before serving, add the remaining ingredients and warm it up, ensure no boiling.
  4. Transfer to a punch bowl and ladle to individual glasses.
  5. Serve warm.
