Xalapa punch cocktail for party

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 2 cups black tea
  • peel of 2 oranges
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 large ice block
  • 1 qt amber rum
  • 1 qt apple brandy
  • 1 qt dry red wine
  • orange wheels to garnish
  • lemon wheels to garnish

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Add black tea, orange peels in a saucepan and simmer under low heat for 8 minutes.
  2. Set aside to cool and add honey. Stir until honey completely dissolves.
  3. Transfer to punch bowl which is filled with ice block.
  4. Pour in rum, brandy and wine.
  5. Garnish with orange wheels and lemon wheels.
  6. Allow to chill before serving.
