Brazilian coffee banana recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 4 bananas
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules
  • 1 tablespoon hot water
  • 1 oz dark muscovado sugar
  • 9 fl oz Greek style yogurt
  • 3 teaspoons toasted almond flakes

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Mashed 3 bananas and slice 1 banana. Set aside.
  2. Dissolve coffee granules in hot water and stir into mashed bananas.
  3. Layer banana mixture, sugar and yogurt until completed in 4 serving dessert bowls.
  4. Chill in refrigerator for 40 minutes.
  5. Garnish with sliced bananas and almond flakes before serving.
