Ingredients (nutrition)
- 2 oz dark chocolate, broken into pieces
- 4 oz golden syrup
- 1/2 oz butter
- 1 tablespoon rum
- 5 fl oz double cream
- 8 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 4 sliced bananas
- 4 oz toasted almonds flakes
Preparation (instructions)
- Melt chocolate, syrup and butter in a heatproof glass bowl over a pan of simmering water.
- Stir well and remove from heat.
- Add in rum and set aside.
- In a bowl, whip double cream until it is able to hold its shape. Set aside.
- Prepare 4 sundae glasses and place 2 scoops of ice cream at the bottom of the glasses.
- Add bananas, chocolate sauce, nuts and cream on top.
- Serve immediately.
