Chocolate ice cream sandwich recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 16 fl oz vanilla ice cream
  • 12 dark chocolate digestive biscuits
  • 6 crumbled amaretti biscuits

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Spread thick ice cream on a non chocolate side of a digestive biscuit and sandwich another digestive biscuit with its chocolate side facing upward.
  2. Squeeze biscuits and smooth ice cream around the edge.
  3. Repeat steps until biscuits and ice cream completed.
  4. Roll biscuit sandwich edge with crumbled amaretti biscuits to coat them.
  5. Freeze for about 3 hours prior serving.
