Ingredients (nutrition)
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 oz caster sugar
- 5 fl oz double cream
- 9 oz mascarpone cheese
- 14 fl oz fresh custard
Preparation (instructions)
- In a saucepan, combine nutmeg, cinnamon, sugar and cream.
- Bring to boil and set aside to cool.
- In a bowl, beat cheese until smooth and stir in custard and spice mixture.
- Pour into a freezer container and freeze for 3 hours.
- Remove from freezer, beat until smooth and freeze for another 3 hours prior serving.
