Coffee granita recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 4 oz sugar
  • 18 fl oz water
  • 9 fl oz espresso coffee

Preparation (instructions)

  1. In a saucepan, dissolve sugar with water under medium heat.
  2. Bring to boil until sugar caramelized.
  3. Allow to cool and stir in coffee. Mix well.
  4. Transfer into a freezer container and freeze until set.
  5. Place granita in a food processor or blender and give several quick pulses to break into small crystals.
  6. Serve immediately in serving glasses.
