- 2 pt mashed strawberries
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons lime juice
- heavy cream for topping
Preparation (instructions)
- In a saucepan, add strawberries and sugar.
- Cook for 8 minutes under low heat with regular stirring.
- Add in cornstarch and water into strawberry mixture. Mix well and cook for 3 1/2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in lime juice.
- Spoon equally into 8 dessert bowls, chill for 2 hours and garnish with whipped topping before serving.
