Fruit pudding recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 2 pt mashed strawberries
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • heavy cream for topping

Preparation (instructions)

  1. In a saucepan, add strawberries and sugar.
  2. Cook for 8 minutes under low heat with regular stirring.
  3. Add in cornstarch and water into strawberry mixture. Mix well and cook for 3 1/2 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in lime juice.
  5. Spoon equally into 8 dessert bowls, chill for 2 hours and garnish with whipped topping before serving.
