Ingredients (nutrition)
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup light corn syrup
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- salt to taste
- 2 teaspoons plain gelatin
- 2 tablespoons cold water
Preparation (instructions)
- Combine well sugar, corn syrup and lemon juice in a bowl. Set aside.
- Scald milk and sour cream and add in salt. Set aside.
- Dissolve gelatin in cold water and add in milk mixture.
- Allow to cool and stir in sugar mixture.
- Transfer into a freezer container and freeze for 1 1/2 hours.
- Remove from freezer, beat with an electric hand held mixer and return to freezer for 3 hours before serving.
