Ingredients (nutrition)
- 3 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup lime juice
- dash of green food coloring
- 1 egg white
Preparation (instructions)
- In a saucepan, add water and sugar.
- Bring to boil for 4-5 minutes until sugar caramelized.
- Allow to cool and add lime juice and green food coloring.
- Freeze mixture for 2 hours.
- Meanwhile, beat egg white until form soft peaks and mix together with the frozen sherbet.
- Continue to freeze for 2 hours, remove from freezer, whip again and return to freezer until needed.
