Lime sorbet recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 10 oz sugar
  • 1 pt water
  • grated zest of 1 lime
  • 6 fl oz lime juice
  • 1 oz icing sugar

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Dissolve sugar with water in a saucepan under medium heat.
  2. Bring to boil for 5 1/2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  4. Mix well lime zest, lime juice, icing sugar with the cooled syrup.
  5. Transfer in a freezer container and freeze for at least 15 hours prior serving.
