Ingredients (nutrition)
- 4 large oranges
- 10 oz vanilla ice cream
Preparation (instructions)
- Cut oranges half lengthways, scrap the flesh and finely chop.
- Reserve the orange juice and place the orange shells in freezer until needed.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine orange flesh, orange juice and ice cream.
- Using a hand held beater or mixer, blend until smooth and creamy.
- Cover with cling film and freeze overnight.
- Spoon mixture into frozen orange shells and freeze for another 2 1/2 hours before serving.
