Ingredients (nutrition)
- grated zest and juice of 8 oranges
- grated zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 6 1/2 oz caster sugar
- 17 fl oz double cream
- 4 tablespoons Grand Marnier
Preparation (instructions)
- Combine together orange zest, orange juice, lemon zest and sugar in a saucepan.
- Cook until sauce thickens. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, whip double cream until form soft peeks.
- Stir into citrus syrup and add lemon juice and Grand Marnier.
- Transfer in a shallow dish and stir every 30 minutes for 3 1/2 hours.
- Allow to chill in a freezer for 24 hours before serving.
