Ingredients (nutrition)
- melted butter for brushing
- 1 1/4 pt double cream
- 3 teaspoons powdered gelatin
- 1 vanilla pod, split lengthways
- 2 3/4 oz caster sugar
Preparation (instructions)
- Grease 6 ramekins or moulds with melted butter. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons cream and gelatin. Leave aside to set.
- In a saucepan, mix well remaining cream, vanilla pod and sugar under medium heat.
- Remove from heat and throw away vanilla pod.
- Combine gelatin and cream mixture and mix well.
- Pour into ramekins and refrigerate for 3 hours prior serving.
