Strawberry pretzel recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 2 cups crushed thin pretzel sticks
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 oz strawberry flavor gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 cup sugar

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degree F.
  2. In a bowl, mix well pretzels, butter and sugar.
  3. Compress pretzel mixture on the bottom of a baking pan and bake in preheated oven for 8 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  4. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
  5. Allow gelatin mixture to cool and add in strawberries. Set aside.
  6. In a bowl, whisk cream cheese, whipped topping and sugar until evenly combined.
  7. Spread cream mixture over pretzel crust.
  8. Spread strawberry gelatin over cream cheese mixture.
  9. Chill in refrigerator for 6-8 hours and cut into pieces before serving.
