Turkish delight ice cream recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 12 oz pink Turkish delight, cut into bite size pieces
  • 5 tablespoons water
  • 1pt 4 fl oz fresh custard
  • 10 fl oz double cream
  • 4 tablespoons rose water

Preparation (instructions)

  1. In a saucepan, combine Turkish delight and water.
  2. Cook under low heat until mixture melts and add in custard.
  3. Meanwhile, whip cream until form soft peaks and fold into custard mixture.
  4. Add rose water and mix well.
  5. Pour mixture into a loft tin lined with cling film.
  6. Freeze for 5 hours before serving.
