Ingredients (nutrition)
- 4 oz butter
- 5 oz Demerara sugar
- 6 fl oz single cream
- 3/4 pt vanilla ice cream
Preparation (instructions)
- In a saucepan, melt butter and sugar under low heat.
- Increase heat and simmer gently until caramelized.
- Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
- Layer caramel with vanilla ice cream served in parfait glasses.
- Serve instantly.
