Vanilla & caramel parfait recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 4 oz butter
  • 5 oz Demerara sugar
  • 6 fl oz single cream
  • 3/4 pt vanilla ice cream

Preparation (instructions)

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter and sugar under low heat.
  2. Increase heat and simmer gently until caramelized.
  3. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  4. Layer caramel with vanilla ice cream served in parfait glasses.
  5. Serve instantly.
