Baked apples in honey & lemon recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 4 cooking apples
  • 1 oz low fat spread
  • grated zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
  2. Remove apple cores and cut lines on the skins and place in an ovenproof dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine together low fat spread, lemon zest, lemon juice and honey.
  4. Mix well and pour over apples, cover with aluminum foil and bake for 42 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately.
