Ingredients (nutrition)
- 1 lightly beaten egg
- 2 tablespoons custard powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 8 fl oz milk
- 4 fl oz double cream
- 2 sliced bananas
Preparation (instructions)
- Whisk all ingredients except for bananas in a heatproof bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Place the bowl over a saucepan filled with gentle simmering water.
- Stir continuously until custard thickens.
- Remove from heat and fold in banana.
- Serve instantly.
