Banana souffle recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • melted butter for greasing
  • 2 oz low fat spread
  • 3/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 fl oz white rum
  • 4 bananas
  • 4 tablespoons creme fraiche

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degree F.
  2. Lightly grease a souffle dish with melted butter.
  3. In a food processor or blender, process low fat spread, sugar, egg yolks, white rum and bananas to form a smooth puree.
  4. Meanwhile, beat egg whites until form stiff peaks and fold into mixture.
  5. Transfer into souffle dish and bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with creme fraiche.
