- 2 oz butter
- 2 1/2 oz soft brown sugar
- 2 lightly beaten eggs
- 12 fl oz milk
- 3 oz chopped walnuts
- 2 oz plain flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- icing sugar for dusting
Preparation (instructions)
- Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
- Lightly grease an ovenproof dish.
- In a bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs and gradually stir in milk.
- Fold in walnuts, flour and cocoa powder into mixture and mix well.
- Spoon mixture into ovenproof dish and bake in preheated oven for 38 minutes.
- Dust with icing sugar and serve immediately.
