Cream puffs recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups whipped cream

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degree F.
  2. Mix well water, butter, sugar and salt.
  3. Bring to a boil and stir in flour.
  4. Mix for 25 seconds, remove from heat and whisk until smooth and creamy.
  5. Beat in eggs in the mixture and set aside to cool for 12 minutes.
  6. Make ball dough and place on a lightly greased cookies sheet.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes.
  8. Slit puffs into half lengthways and fill in whipped cream.
  9. Serve instantly.
