Fromage frais with hot plum sauce recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 1 lb plums, cut into halves
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons water
  • 3/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 8 oz low fat fromage frais

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Add plum and water in a saucepan under low heat and simmer gently until plums soften and tender.
  2. Transfer into an electronic blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
  3. Return to pan, add sugar and reheat.
  4. Spoon fromage frais into 4 serving dishes and add sauce over it.
  5. Serve instantly.
